wimped out this morning while it was broad and gusting up to 50knots.......paid for it with crap speeds after the wind dropped and went square.

Portland, England, GB. Much better today, felt comfortable only got a few good runs in which lowered my 5X10sec average, did hav a big wipeout though going at about 35k which bent my boom :L

Decided i'm sailing for me now and after today i loved it! Nothing getting in the way of my thoughts bloody amazing........

Quite funny went out on the 80 Falcon with a 5.5m SCR Simmer and it dropped as soon as i hit the water, but stuck with it and had a load of fun realised i had put some weight on first time i have submerged that board in the lulls (xmas food). But then The Bus came out on 7.3m potplant windowcills maui and a Exorcist 91  or something and told me because of his mass structure and highly tuned body he needed this much power and volumn.

Missed the real wind early on nobody to look after the munchkins but to be fair i was pissing about rigging up and playing with fins when i got there.

My loss? i don't think so really enjoyed myself for the first time in a long time on the water.............

Hope all that sailed the harbour  in or out the team had a great day.

Happy new year to all laters...........

Well done on the Peak Tom, and that Alpha has to be the slowest I have ever seen Camel!

I actually told Swagger that even with my fat and current weight after too many pies I could barely hold down the pure power coming from the aforementioned potplant (think he has farmville on his mind too much now) Wink

It was nice to see him with a smile on his face, guess he harvested some virtual onions and made virtual cheese before he came out

You guys are really tough. Cool

You should post the temperature and wind chill factor to give us summer holidayers some erspective!

Its not that cold to be honest, we are lucky here in Weymouth, with a SW wind it rarely drops below 12deg, with wind chill probably 4 or 5. Put it this way if you dont drop a gybe for 20mins then your head starts to boil with the neoprene beany on and its nice to splash some water on it. In february/march the temps will be colder in the water but the air temps usually warm up a bit by then.
