Went out 30 mins too early, with 8.4. A bit later would have taken 7.5. As it turned out, the 8.4 ended up too big but still had a good sail. CASL, 44 fin, tracks here; http://www.ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=37131&tid=0

Isonic 101 and Ram 6.8.
Another broken boom, this time able to reverse it with Help from Nic and get back without a long swim.

Late start but perfect timing. NEaster came in about 1/4 hour after I went out. Felt like more than 25 but just have to try harder.

Picked up a new sail from Steve, and decided to spend the day somewhere different on the lake. Beautiful park and nice spot for the kids to play. Wind came in early and looked really good, but never really fully arrived. Spent most of the time playing with the kids and helping the wife with beach starting. Got a short session on the 7.6 and felt really good, even with my 75% carbon mast. Look forward to lots more sessions on this gear.
Topped the night off with some sweet fireworks across the water at Wangi. No wonder Barry loves it so much down there!
Happy new year everyone, and well done to Byron for 1st place in NSW for December.
