Very seedy sail on the high tide, frothed as, after a three day bender at Falls festival. New sail was unreal, comments later.

nice first run on the new evo ,the wind was a bit light for a 5.4m2 but had to try it .it had heaps of power for a small sail and felt very light and balanced in the hands, can't wait to get a good blow.

Robbins Passage TAS, AU

Went exploring today finally got the chance to check out a new spot we have been eyeing off for ages. Talked a mate with a decent boat to take us out to the W end of Robbins Island and boy is it a wild place out there. Left Stanley at 700am put boat in at the Montagu boat ramp cruised bashed our way 10 km to the crossing then zig zagged our way through all the channels and out to the outer channel marker about 22 ks from the boat ramp The tide was not a real low one so the outer run was still a bit rough no real good steep sand banks. Found two good runs on the way back in while waiting for the tide to come back in so we could get home.

I couldnt work out how to make the tracks clearer on the GE pic

Dorans with a 15 to 20 knot WSW. Awesome fun. Ran my IS101, Vector Cainfire 36, and 7.0m R3. Bit overpowered at times but these sails are so good you just keep hanging on! Loving them!

Tough going Cookie not much sleep, wine headache and all. This is a pic of the outer channel real leg burner about 4 ks pity the sand isn't steeper.

Wow, well done Johno, great effort to get out there and to go pretty well too!!  I wonder how it would be if the tide was lower?  Awesome GE tracks.  Well done!!!!  Looks like it would be pretty good for a NM (or two)!!
