Somers, VIC, AU

Nice arvo sail after work at 4pm with a friend who has a beach house at Somers

Sailed here about a week ago and had a good sail as well.

Wind was a bit light on to start with but really kicked in and could easily sailed with a 5m

Nice outside hot shower after the sailLaughingand finished the day off with a cold beer and something to eat.

Doesn't get as big a swell as Bono on a strong sw but still nice waves and easy to gybe in

Will have to sail here more often when Bono is to full on.

Nice to hear of guys sailing in my old backyard, awsome place with lovely people.Had only ever heard of formula guys sailing out of Balnaring YC until now 

The swell cranks threw somers and balnaring area when the swell is up. Nice looonnnnngggggg swells to play on, glad to hear people are back windsurfing in the area.

Yep agree with you Fudge great spot and layed back_Somers Yacht club also has a good web site with 2 web cams that update every 60 seconds and weather display showing direction and speed good for checking conditions before you head down to Somers.
