Mauisails TR9 6.3 Tongue out Naish sp ltd 95 Cool Vector rocket 32Cool 39.28 on the dial looked so niceSmile

What a day windy ,choppy and high tide allowing me to run deep of the windTongue out That TR9 is soooooo nice it's just so easy to run fast in the chop. This is my PB for rough water and I am so happy. I was the only one on the water at that time. Man these Mauisails TR9 sails smoke off the wind.

My second sail Kaleb peak was 36.69 if you were interestedWink

Very gusty day. Rigged smallish thinkiing it was going to howl, but got sucked in, needed bigger fin & sail. But was a great sail anyway.

Fun sail at Dorans on the new 6.2 Reflex 4, iSonic 86 and 34cm Venom.  Tide was out quite a bit, so had to sail further out in the bay.

Well done Russ on your 39 knot PB - that is awesome!!

Dorans, TAS, AU Sonic 95, RS 7.2 Pleased to get a sail with the bigger gear after first attempt with a 5.4 as it was really blowing while initially rigging up.

Good easy sail on some flat water testing out a new/old fin that felt pretty solid

Port Sorrell, TAS, AU   Not a bad sail today, fairly rough away from the sandbank but a better direction than yesterday.  Fanatic Falcon 95 ,NCX 6.5, C3 Venom 34

Ray Thorne (2839km):

Port sorell The longer we stayed out the flatter it got, BUT then the wind droppped. OH well it was time to go and feed the worms anyway! tried a shorter mast today with good results ,far better rotation and balance Nice work Russ and well done Ben!!!

Good blast between teaching learners in the bay. Was hell lumpy in the middle during the outgoing tide, some of the swell had lips! but flatter water when the tide turned.

Well done Ben bad luck about the mast

Russ great speed in the rough stuff.

SteveSurprised good time to go and sail there while there is a bushfire not far away, all the Parks blokes would be up there.

I'm Harvesting poppies at Fingall Sun. and Royal George this week not far from the fire but would rather be sailing at Moulting Lagoon while the fun police are busy.

Well done on the 37 spot PB buzzy. Johno, what about some of the stuff sticking up out of the water at ML. I was really worried about hitting something. It's an awesome place to sail and so flat. No fun police there today so good timing. Always wanted to sail there, we need to find another lake type place to sail.

Wonder what Moulting Bay would be like in a southerly?  Forecast to be 15-25 knots there this afternoon?

Dave went I through Lewisham about 4pm yesterday arvo(low tide was at 3pm) and there was no sand above the water. Maybe I missed it but I have a feeling that it may need to be a lower tide than .22 for the sand to come up there.

Finally managed to post some numbers from Saturday. Big thanks to Ben for technical advice ....like how to turn the Gps on..and lots of other stuff. I sailed a heap of boards on the day but the fastest times were probably on the NXS.
