Canton Beach, NSW, AU Horrible and miserable. Finally hit water at 10.45 after getting there at 7.30. Freakin floggin down and did not stop. Gusty sse Miller, Jamie, Pete and Tod. Tried 5.7 koncept and 53 wide Patrik and quickly changed to 7.5 koncept 112 jp slalom 31 jp weedy. One of those days!

Wet and wild.Knew we wouldn't find flat water today. Hard to know what to rig with the wind line far out  from shore and sqaulls belting thru every now and again. SSE 15-30k plus on the gusts.

Sailed with Rob and Pete. The only other ones mad enough to go out in this weather. Pretty maxed on Hawk 93Ltd. Gaastra 4.7 Poison 10.5 Finworks weedy, then Curtis 26.5 Wave fin, after not getting enough bite in the short chop. Probably could have used the 4.2 and F2 Axxis (if I'd brought it!) Out wide was a bit flatter surprisingly, between the heavy squalls and rolling swell.

Trouble was seeing the shoreline through the rain and mist coming back! A bit disorienting.Muscles screaming with lactic acid too quickly, straining to hold it all together at times Got a few wild rides, nearly blown off the water at one point, and managed a few bearaways to see what the 4.7 would do.Challenging and tiring, but still worthwhile.Tongue out

Gusty, patchy, 0 - 20 something, hard work all round, plenty of stacks. Probably not a good day to try the new Fanatic  Falcon, but looked like everyone found it a tad difficult today. Only short runs as the chop further out was messy and from two directions. Good to sail with the boys again. Good to see ya Mick and Milsy. Looked to be improving as I left.

Board felt greart when settled in - I know there is more in it than what I got out of it today.

Jamie we will have to get a Head count on who will what a Team T-Shirt or Polo so when we deside what design we want then we can start getting quotes.

So Who wants to Buy a Team Shirt?

Cheers guys. Hey Adam, 2012 version of the 125litre - suits my expanded waistline!! Feels soo nice when its powered up, so smooth and just keeps accelerating.. Just need a sail or two to do it justice now... Had a few issues - its a deep tuttle box with a standard tuttle fin (JP 36 weedy) - mocked up a few spacers which worked nice. Struggled a bit with the back footstrap - sooo far out, harder than the 2011 version Milsy has.

Keen for the shirt!!

Hmmm, thinking a Marauders trip to Lake George is on the cards next year - some of the numbers coming from there are nuts!!

Good work on the PB Jamie! Should smash 30 knots on that board. Rear foot strap issues hey, that sounds familiar with slalom boards...  Did ya crash a few times trying to find it?

Count me in for 1 large T-shirt Mark.

Can I please have a women's medium t? If no chicky ones, can I please go a small men's t? Is it possible to pretty please post the designs here too? I don't do Facebook ;-)

I'm in for the "T" shirt. XXL. Long sleaves with collar is the preference for the sun burn.

Well done Jamie on your 2 sec. peak PB. You'll be seeing more of those with your Falcon dialled in!!Smile

Mark H, You can put me down for two Mediums of the Team T-shirt, or one T-shirt and one polo.(colour- black or white) If there is a "V" neck version, Chris'll have a medium thanks.

Guys what I will do first is, find out how many shirts we are going to need.

Choose the Design we will have.

Then get quotes & then get Shirt sizes & colours.

Cheers!
