First time posting for a LONG time..
First blow of the year for greenie.. was better day yesterday but no GPS..
But I plan to get back into windsurfing more often this year :)

First short sail at Burrum, great to be on the water again, good fun. Tides will get better as the days go by, or so say Burrum's Lord Mayor Ray 

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Promised so much , yet delivered but a glimpse of a new season to come. Roped Fast Freddy into hitting the beach after work after seeing the green arrows across Seabreeze. Had to dog it out 300 or so metres to hit the wind line. Couple of reasonable runs before the breeze died with the on set of the evening. For the first sail of the year though, it was great to be back out on the water. Summer and office fitness would certainly take its toll on heavy day though. Thanks for the company Freddy and Hoppy Bob -bloody great to catch up.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Call from Billy and Hoppy Bob and I went to Holloways for a look.

It did not look to good but decided since we were there we may as well give it a go.

Wind changed direction (what wind there was) a few times and was very hard getting back to base.

Good to catch with Bill and Bob (flower pot men.)

Its summer and I got to sail.... That does not happen up here this time of year.

Winds were up and down today, probably around the 20kt mark at its best. Tides were moving in much the same manner. Quickly up and even faster down, way down. Unfortuneatly the winds were not the 30kt suggested by the Island crew. Wished they were right though.
