0-18 knots. JP114, 8.5,  45cm fin.

Wind disappeared as I carried my gear to the beach. Decided to take my chances anyway.

For the first 15 minutes it was an endurance test  ... enduring the embarassment of travelling at the speed of a geriatric ambling along after a bowel operation, in  light flukey  lumps of wind, switching 180 degrees. The wind was a hopeless mess, but the  water was dead smooth. Eventually a passable gust came up and I managed a pleasant glide out to sea and back.  If the GTC computer measured personal worsts Id probably get 3 PWs for this session. But I thought id post it any way to give Bear's session some company.
