Out with Salty testing the Lake for a long distance venue.Reaches over 2 NM but chop was 20-40 cm so no fast times. Started with screamer 117 8.0 Gaastra flow 2, nothing felt good, changed down to 6.6 Koncept and it was great.10-18knt gusty

Up the Lake testing out for distance when there is lots of wind all day with Fitz66. Very lumpy conditions but fun and a bit challenging. In the chop the board speed felt a lot faster than what the GPS showed. Used Hypersonic 111 with 8.4 RS6 and 49 fin, switched to 6.7 RS Racing and 34 fin on same board. I had over downhauled the smaller rig which chocked the sail. A good lesson learnt. Fitz66 was giving me a good bit of competition, and kicked my butt a couple of times.

Wind 15-20 at Victoria Point. Got there early to attack the distance but the wind didn't co-operate. Only kicked in after I'd been there a couple of hours, rigged my 5.0 Ezzy (super sweet sail) to try some duck gybes, wind died again at 4pm. Wasn't trying for speeds, concentrating on alpha and distance. Happy to finally crack 100 on distance, if the wind was consistent I could easily have done 150. Next time Gadget, NEEEEXXXTTT TTIIIIIIMMMMEEEE :-)
