Strong and gusty SW wind (30-35 knots). Not many places to sail in this direction, so tried Mortimer Bay for the first time. Mostly survival sailing, with onshore winds producing a rolling chop that allowed only short fast stints along lines. The bay is 1.1 NM wide, so just enough to do NM runs. Sailing on an iSonic 50 with 26cm Drake fin and 5.6 SSR. Probably would have been better with a 4.6 in today's conditions. All in all, very windy and difficult going in bump-n-jump conditions.

yeh not the best day flat and first until it got a bit choppy. gusts of 35 and most of the time around 30 knots on a fanatic falcon 91 with a north warp 5.3.

Very gusty and choppy. My elbows might need replacing.

hard day very choppy with the gusty Winds to 25-35 knots. unfortunately the sand bar had just gone under water before the wind had picked up. fanatic falcon 79 with warp 6.3 30 select fin all worked vey well in very tough slalom conditions. hi all when back out ,the sand bar just up before dark but wind was dieing,it was worth it,here is the new track log. f2 missile XS 5.0m2 north warp ,23 custom fin

This was a really fun day. Some windy gusts coming through. Started off with the Isonic 76 with a 32cm stock fin which was too big and changed down to a Select 27cm. Then went out on my new Isonic 50 which was really good. Had the 23cm stock fin which was too small and changed up to the Select 27cm. Then the wind dropped out. Should have gone quicker but at least have my fins sorted out next time I go out. Well done Dave and Perks, cmon Tassie Speed Seekers. Used a Severne SSR 5.6.
