Nice session at Hardies - Powered 6.6 Koncept on the Kinetic Gladiator 95. Went for an hour - with a 29cm reshaped Finworks weed fin - the fin was good speedwise but I was losing ground downwind the whole hour. Took another 35 minutes to get back to starting point!! Did 4 speed runs after that to get the 5 x. Happy with the PB hour - had a glug for a couple of mins after the first gybe. Lots of SRM and others at Hardies today - good fun but not quite up to the expectations of many!! This is Garmin data on realspeed [Navi is drowned] except the 2sec post is the GPS max display not the program output [35.241]

Well not as windy a day as im sure everyopne had hoped, but fun nontheless.. rather anoying for me though, with the lack of wind, as i had a choice of 6.6 or 5.0... and went with the small size. definately would have been faster on 5.8 but that's in for repairs. ah well got some good alphas anyways. Not too sure about the accuracy of the garmin 2sec... would post display like pd, but that spiked more than software... (35.8)

A fun afternoon at Woodman Point dodging the kites. Tried for a few alphas but not too successful on analysis - possibly the raked assy 23 wasn't the fin for the job (bit weedy so it worked well for that). No speedsailing company out there - guessed you had all gone to Hardies and aparently I was right. Left tired and sore, with all van windows intact so I was happy about that. GT11 Doppler data Cheers Dan

two sessions combined here at hardies run, 1st sess was early during the sou soueast on the isonic 105,nitro 4 7.6 and 34 brushcutter weed. this sess was aprox 40nm. decided to have a rest for a couple of hours when i went thru the 7.6 about 4 ks off shore ended up floating and paddling and finally chucking the sail to make headway(sail was totalled and it had cost me 250 bucks a couple of years ago so no worries there) eventually a kind boaty towed me in to the shallows where i had to wade thru weed for another nm or so. 2nd sess was on the kon5.8 and slowys 50knot weapon the ca sp 40....what a weapon...no fast speeds as i only pulled 2 runs but awesome controll and allmost as easy to get going as the 44 only loads nmore controll...stoked with this board...will def get 1 before the year is out! wind in the arvo 15-22kn gusty and a relatively high tide not giving much flat water.all in all a good day.

Did the drive hoping for some wind. It looked good on the river on the way past but was a poofy 15-23 when I got to Hardies. No worries. Rigged 6.6m on the SP50 with the KA asymmetric 23. Didnt catch any weed or grind to a halt anywhere so it was good. Had a go at some alphas, but never seemed to find a gust big enough to power out of. Best ones were in front of the carpark. Same with the NM. Dropped into a patch of 12-15kts half way and killed the av. Nice cruisy day though. Didnt bother trying for an hour but surprised to see it wasnt too bad.

Had a great sail, new weedy new sail all worked straight of the the beach.Couple of pbs in average conditions to prove it.Like Dansy have only put display peak not software (35.551) by way of preparing my self for the reality check of the Navi when it arrives !Fingers X's for wind next weekend.

Arrived at Hardies about 3:30 and headed out on the Falcon with 6.6 and my new Flying Objects 28 weedster. First time with the weed fin and was chuffed that "it didn't catch any weed". Unfortunately not as windy as I would have liked so didn't experience Hrdies at its best but had a great sail anyway.

Spent some time at Safety bay for the club day then headed down to Hardies for a play about 6pm, a bit late the wind dropping off, Isonic 86, 6.7 & 31cm Jp weedy, too much rake and a bit slow.
