One of the only SW change chances of the month and luckily I was able to leave work early because of the start of the Easter Holidays but I still missed the initial burst of wind. Got a couple of good runs in 20-22 knots and then it faded out. IS50, TM45v7 and 5m KA Koncept for the fastest few runs and then IS87, TM speed26 for the rest with the same sail very underpowered. Good to meet the SA guys having fun here.

Wave gear, 25 knot onshore at Beaumaris with 2 meter breaking waves and washing machine chop , not really ideal speed conditions!!! Ha ! Had some good stacks trying to go fast and nearly broke my nose . Good fun .

First effort at Lake Connewarre.  Didn't get what I came for which was a NM pb - My NM included a gybe and 300 on other tack - had too much trouble with weed at either end of the run.  A reasonable alpha on 120l board.  Ran iSonic 120, Select Lightning 33 and Naish Stealth 6.5.  Was going to go for more distance too but spent a lot of time glugging waiting for next cloud / wind burst.  Maybe next time....  At least we have a score now though.
