Mineral (3706km): Tough after a seven week run at a full session, old joints sooorrreeee Hardies real gusty, found out MM crew on down wind side, which is better spot according to Nebs in this directional breeze. Kicked in well after he left to attend to some work Good to see most out
lao shi (27489km): Long day meeting lots of crew at LBay. GTC cast of thousands (well tens)Drop in appearances from snides and 25 (they seemed to appear and then disappear)and Tim blasting on a 5.8 when most were on at least a metre bigger. Good to see so many of the southsiders out. Hope the ankle isn't too bad Bigdog. KRX7.6, Koncept 6.6, *brd W58, JPFSW91. Wind was up and down and choppy as but good to get a full days sail in.
Tony Cronin (91km): First posting in quite a while. F2 SX-L and Loft Blade 6.2. Late afternoon/dusk at Lucky Bay - guess the wind was 12-15 with gusts to 18/20, pretty flat water when I got out. Getting the body used to WS again after little TOW lately. Love the F2 SX-L once planning it just keeps going, even with the small sail. Not enough power for the conditions - got to get a couple of larger Blades, but very pleased to get a couple of decent planing runs in. Getting rid of the IQ7.4 I got with the board - just doesn't set right with the mast that came with it (can't get enough downhaul on it to open it up), whereas the first use of the Blade on this board just felt great, though under powered.
