Due to storm surge and on shore wind it was very choppy. the wind was up and down. Got one gust for 2sec.
It was very square so did long runs.
I had to end it early as i have my sisters 30th at 3pm. i'm late

6056 days ago Early morning sail at Howards Way. Bender's iSonic was on and off the plane, but when it fired up it was reasonably quick. I had 31 on the display, that was underneath a massive storm cell, couldn't see much due to all the rain, out in the middle of the channel, 70cm high chop, board was going crazy so I just shut my eyes and used the force, Luke Met Mineral out there as well, he was struggling with the light conditions, hopefully it filled in after I left.
That iSonic can't gybe to save itself, I don't think I'll take it out again.
Had a wave sail with Elmo in the afternoon, both of us trying to outkook each other, I think it was a tie in the end, loads of fun though. Saw Porka out at Falcon bay, he was having a great time! The more I sail that Acid the more I love it

6056 days ago 1 categories Procrastinated with a hangover all morning finally hit water at about 3 at Safety Bay for a very bumpy and up and down session
Fastest run was on my very first before a squall came through at 30 + knots and i couldn't sheet in or see, sailing with both eyes closed is scary
wind died out after squall i almost packed up but then came in again but couldn't better my speed with the given sea state

Decrepit (22059km):
6056 days ago combination of 2 sessions, first in the morning with evets.
Second in the arvo with hardy, binny and ron.
Think the best times where in the arvo, the wind was a bit stronger. A pleasant relaxed sail, nice change after yesterday.

Great fun on the estuary with Decrepit before leaving for daughters birthday events. Rigged too sall and was generally underppowered, contrasting last thursday when I shold have rigged smaller.
Some gybes went well, definitely getting better with each session. Also better at bearing away and going for speed ( although you may not believe it from the fiigures). The water is getting colder each session and these gusty winter winds remind me of inland sailing conditions in a previous life, but at least there was wind!
