Lyn & Herb are at Kurramine Beach, I recieved their files via email from some one else so I don't know what it's like down there. Just heard it was 12 > 16.

Cam, Rowdy & I went over to Green Island. Wow what a great day, 30knots wind avg nearly all day, clear but choppy water, turtles, sunny and board shorts Smile

Cam's staying overnight at Green so I don't have his files but I know he has 36.8 on the dial Wink

Compleatly fruited my F1 fin on the reef, so sad YellFrown

100L Gladiator, 5.9 Loft O2 & 32cm Kinetic fin.

I'll wack some photo up tomorrow, too buggered now.

Thanks Vando Smile

Well that is a surprise to see 4 PB's off a board i have never ridden. Bought a Naish off seabreeze (thanks Arnold Smile) and first day out its a winner.

Started the day with a Select SL7 35cm and after a few runs found i was over finned so i changed to a F1 34cm for the rest of the day. The F1 was much better for the conditions.

Naish seven zero hybrid, 5.5 Neil Pryde Z1, F1 techie.

Hopefully hit Yorkeys sunday and see how the board likes that mess Tongue out

The Gladiator is dead YellCry

It's been making some funny noises the last few sessions, checked it today and it's delaminated from the nose to the fin box, the whole bottom Surprised Ive had it 3 & 1/2 years, more than double the time of any production board I've had before, the Yorkey's chop wins again.

Amazing it could do over 34 knots with a bulging bottom. This is a photo of my 34 knot run with a fruited Gladdy..

Your not having a good run Firie, the fin yesterday, and now the boardFrownYell Any way you can get it fixed?

I guess when it's doing that, there ain't no bulge! It;s more likely to be concave once the water is pushing against it.

But well done guys, great numbers.

Firie

My 95 did the same trick. Not nose to tail as I got it when I first heard the funny 'vibrations'.

Go here - http://www.boardlady.com/injection.htm

If there is no water in it can be fixed - I fixed mine for about $50 and its 95% the board it was.

Thanks 25, I did drill a million shallow holes in the bottom of my Naish, injected epoxy and clamped it down with a ton of weight with foam in between board & weight. Turned out nice but I have never used it just parked it for my boy if he ever got keen, tomorrow will be the test. But that was only a third of the bottom, the Gladdy is total so I'm not sure it'll ever be right. Bloody shame as I loved that board for here.

Yeh spewing Mineral, but she's done a few K's and yesterday was magic at Green, life's still good Wink

Love that O2 Vando, I was going to flick the old Ezzy and get a 6.7 Loft Blade but now I wonder if the 6.6 O2 will do the trick ? The O2 seems to give the race sails a run for their money down wind Smile

yer off wind for sure but I think across and up wind the Blade would perform much better.

Maybe a compromise would be the new SwitchBladeWink
