Good going Paul....Looking at the graphs I don't think there would have been a lot of wind.

Didn't think it was going to be enough to go out but i went out anyway.  Wind wasnt too strong but fairly constant. Typical Yorkeys chop......terrible. I think at one stage it got up to a whole 15knots . Thanks Firie for throwing the tracks up. Only 3 boards out today including me but the kite traffic was insane.

Hopefully we all will get a sail tomorrow and get some numbers on the board. I think Doc is off to Green and i will try to get a sail for sure.

I just got Cam's files, he sailed from Clifton Beach (Cairns) to Port Douglas

I couldn't get the whole trip into Google maps so I split it into 2, the best I can do, sorry Cam.

The white line is into Port and is about 17.4 K's long by Google I believe he ran out of wind out there for awhile

Had delusions of grandeur today -was hoping to better le coque's 1 hr  but 1/2 way into the marathon journey ran out of wind .Told Catherine I'd be there in 1 hr -arrived 3 hrs late !!She was NOT HAPPY.

Hey Mineral, that run into Port Douglas (white line) is about how far Rotto is off the WA coast, food for thought and why I call him Mad Cam

Too many fishies out near Rotto for boof heads like me I would start a gybe, fall in and become cray bait in a second. I would be OK going in a straight line, however

 Plus the swell on a seabreeze is a pain in the coit, literally
