5880 days ago Two sessions with the same setup at different places. First off a Ettalong Beach. The wind was sort of a southerly but was gusting all over the place due to the headland. I gave up there and we had lunch at the local club with some beer and then went down to Brisbane Waters.
Much better wind down there and had a nice sail. No records broken and the wind was a bit lightish, probably around 10 to 20 knots but overall its great to sail in more open water. A fair bit of chop but that was fun to work with. Met some local sailers, Nigel and Pat. They are interested in the GPS scene so hopefully will catch up with them again.
I used my Tabou Rocket 140 with 48cm fin and Neil Pryde 6.6 RX2.
