Sailed with Brad, Simon, Tim and Vando for a bit. Lota Ck. 5.5m Stealth, 26 C3 Venom, wt jack= 9.5kg. Even on a bad day like today....God I love that place.  Congrats Vando on your speeds, on a new sail too! W8 til you get it dialed in.

First sail on the New 2009 Loft Blade 5.6 this sails a little powerhouse similar to the 2008 models

but with some nice refinements, bit deeper, more twist, zippers on some of the cams and some material changes

makes this even better than the 2008s. Sails only arrived today so no time to pre rig them, I went straight down to wello rigged the 5.6 seemed to take forever the first time, settings slightly diff to the 2008 models had to tension all the batterns meanwhile with was honking tide was going bad quickly errrr finally got out first run 39 i was stoked tide dropping quickly though had some mor runs before it got to shallow.

went for a few runs down at Lota with the guys then headed back to wello and wait till the tide started to come back in which was about 1hr away so decided to rig the 6.8 in the mean time and have a play.

By 6.00pm the tide was on the ay in so went for some more runs gave Julian a ride on my gear he clocked 38.

I went to get my gear off him and then he said oh can i have another run so i did and he got a 38.4 pfff last time im loaning my gear to him lol

so pretty good day
