Koombana Bay(fron the cut)

SW 15-20knts

F2 SX XL,8.4m RSS, 40cm LE race

Ledge to Lano training on the bay. Did a couple of down wind runs right next the the jetty and got some smooth water to get the 2sec. Went back to the middle to get in the chop. Big kit just flys over the chop. Came in as the wind picked up and it was getting a bit too risky on the 8.4m.

JP Slalom IV 104L, NP RSS MkII 7.2m JP slalom 36cm.

Last sail before week away, went out on the pointer as an experiment which ended up working quite well as although there was some floating gungy looking weed floating around it didn't affect the fin.

Was trying for the hour, would have been better if I didn't have to fluff around with some settings included a mast base which had drifted forward  leading to a few teeth rattling runs, was also working on my water start gybesEmbarassed.

A great way to cap of the dayCoolCoolCool

gusty day for the swan at melville, had two 30 min sesions with a half hour nap on the beach in between, should have used bigger gear but still enjoyed sailing with only a small fleet of yachts out for the day to avoid.lots of crapy weedy/algae stuff over the sandbar that slowed ya down a bit going through it-yuk!it was a lot cleaner out there in the 80's.also thanks to decrepit for helping me sort out my gps and software.
