NOTE: Ruler  is 2NM long

Lechenault Inlet, SW'er 15-20knts 2-4inch chopCool

F2 SX M, 8.4m RSS, 40cm Choco weed

First time with RSS and SX M. Felt ok but i think the XL would have been quicker. Nice cruisey sail. It picked up the 20KNTS + and still the RSS didnt get back handed. Most other sailers were on 6m's.

The Safety Bay chapter of the MM maintained title over hardies run today. A lot of west in the breeze and tide was fairly high leaving the run pretty choppy, joined by Snides and Tim with decrep showing at about 6

For me used JP Slalom 84 Koncept 6.6 with a chamelion 24 for the first part of the session Smashed my alpha PB with this combo so pretty stoked with that.

Changed down to NP RS Slalom 5.8 and dusted off my old caveman which cost me $150 about 6 years ago can't work out why i have not bought this board out sooner it is an absolute weapon with the only downer to it being the excess length, it will meet my jigsaw this week i think.

Great session stoked with my alpha

At last we got some wind yeeeaaah! Smile Great session with Adam, Tim and Snide. Had to use 5.4 RSS cause my 5.8 is out for repair... it turned out been a good relaxing time on that combo, after all thoses last sessions in 6.7!

I would have used the 44 later if I had it, but did not trust the forcast today so left it home. But been a bit undersized with the 5.4, it worked out pretty well with the CA50! Got to test one of my latest fin creation Wink

Adam done great today on his old board, he was smoking out there Wink

Wow, I was very close to do a PB on my NM!

I really enjoyed today, it was greaaaaat Cool

Had fun sailing with the saftey bay chapter and 2 SRM, but results are very dissapointing.

Sorry Adam, was really trying to back your great alph up, must have been trying too hard or something, completly misjudged angles, don't know why thought I had alphas sussed. Best result is out in the chop when I wasn't trying, all my good high speed gybes went too wide, had a 25+ alpha 500/70.

May be karma getting back at me for ridiculing your alpha 70 suggestion.

Hmm, looks like I should have concentrated on the 1hr instead of the alphas, might have given a better result all round.

High Tide, and the water was like a motor cross track, still one of the most beautiful places I've ever winddurfed.  Would need a lot of factors to converge to make the long treck worthwhile, we are spoilt in Mandurah!!!!!

Ah didn't learn from saturday-went to melville again to sail with som old crew but the wind wasn't playing the game ,had a half hour sesion but got frustrated with the gusty crappy conditions and came in to call it a day.then just after finishing my post sail "medicinal beer"the wind came in a bit over twenty so I went back out for another sesion-but forgot to turn my gps back on-DOH!

My turn for a screen shot. GPSarPro, says this is a 26kt alpha 500/73

If only I hadn't gone so wide!!!!! Got my angles about right, just didn't gybe tight enough.

Might have been a PB. Tightenening it up would have been slower, but how much????

ARRGGH silly old fool stop agonising over it anf go to bed!!!!!

Adam, don't rush and trim Cap'n Caveman, on the days when the run gets a bit bumpy the extra length is a godsend which helps smooth thing out a bit
