Cr$%^*y session at Safety Bay. Wind didnt really kick in until it was time to go. gaps between averages and peaks on Seabreeze tell the story.

IS 87 then 101, CR 6.7, LE weedy 32

Late session at Peli point, wind looked like picking up but not for long, gradually dropped off and with no big gear on board decided to call it a day early.

Iso 86, 6.7, Choco 32.

good to finaly get free of family commitments for awhile anyway!  decided with the team trophy secured for another year it was time to do some (self indulgent) bandaid work to slow  my inevitable slide down the rankings, and the easiest way to do that was sail for a couple of hrs.

conditions were great for distance but the wind was not around for long enough,i managed to sail from a light easterly to another light easterly when the wind switched off at around 7.00pm. the middle of the esturary was as flat as i have ever seen it and was well powered for most of the arvo.

used the old faithfull-ison 105,cred 6.7,brushcutter 34...this combo fits like a glove in this wind range and i recon i could sail all day if all the planets and some of the neighboring solar systems ever alligned..

my apologies to some of the crab lickers for not being all that sociable but thats what happens with trying to get some distance up..

edit- aprox 30nm was done on das boot-jp134 and cred 8.3 and choco 40

cruising at peli wind light to moderate and patchy. sailed to pt walter and back which is where i got my 1 hr mostly upwind sailing. Alot windier up at melville and pt walter. downwinder back to peli was choppy and mod breeze hard to crank anything.

iso 87, 6.6 koncept, 32 deb sl2

oops forgot my sd card today, left it in the laptop.. thats a new one ill have to remember. not a huge loss with only a dwindling patchy late arvo breeze at peli point.

data should still be on the Navi. check Seabreeze forums for how to transfer the data (the file will be trackpoints from sessions before today as well as today) to the card/pc and then trim the file to just the trackpoints from today.

cheers still feel like some more hopefully this arvo...after all i still didnt get wet yesterday Frown............Wink

enjoyed the run across the great divide yesterday oh crooked one! that was a nice looking weed bank on the other side!

prob should of done some bear offs to get some higher speeds but it would of meant dropping speed on the opposite tack..

cheers to Elmo and Hardie for sticking around for some time..at least i think it where you guys?

the mission yesterday was to get as close as possible to 200 so as to climb a couple of spots on the individual ladder for the year a pb was of no real interest.
