Light westerly first up then it swang on the first run to south westerly.  Anyway nice to be out there with the CODE RED.

A quick sail at Stanley in an off-shore wind attempting a NM.  Sailed from the caravan park up to the inlet (a very uneasy feeling in off-shore, gusty winds).  Managed to make it to the far side of the inlet and turned around and went for a NM run (4kms as it turned out).  Still choppy and had to negotiate two swell lines coming in at right angles to the direction I was sailing (had to bear up and drop speed back to 23 and 24 knots, respectively to avoid serioulsy big airtime).

Sailed 2009 iSonic 86 and SSR 5.6.
