Bubs (476km): Another session out with myself today. Got there and wasn’t awesome conditions so Dad and Alex didn’t bother heading out. Had to come in early to go for a bodyboard with them anyway so just a nice short session. On the plane easily with the S-type 93L and 6.6 Koncept again but still not the greatest of conditions. Looks like were not going to get that awesome speed day I was hoping for while were here, but still plenty of good sessions. So yeah very choppy today, not a great direction but still managed to catch a small bit of sand bank with some flat water to squeeze out as much speed as I could for the day. Pulled off a pretty nice gybe as well hence the alpha speed improving slowly. Only thing is that I was pretty happy with the gybe and completely forgot to get my act together and pump back onto the plane so think I still got more improvement in that. Didn’t pull so many off today but enough to keep me happy ha ha. Anyway all up not a bad day out, few people out but not super busy on the water, and Dad got some more good shots of everyone. Dr Duck (344km): A session for the GPS Summer Series. Not sure if I have entered this right. Results are from Real Speed. Sailed at Kingston Park, 17-22 k seabreeze I reckon, a bit of chop but zero swell. Water crystal clear and blue - lovely! Hello to Team Gybe Turkeys! |
