5822 days ago 2 categories Well an incredibly short session today… Last day here at Goolwa and it was horrible. 40 degrees with a strong (very gusty) hot northerly breeze. So Dad and I thought we better head out anyway. Looked like crap at the mouth so the Goolwa South Lake was our only option. Now northerly winds aren’t really all that exciting anywhere in SA so it meant real choppy, gusty conditions and very very short runs (like around 400m). Not real ideal for speed so just had a quick cool off in the end really. I headed out with my 6.0m Gaastra GTX and the S-type and Dad went out with his 158L JP Freeride with the 5.8m Gaastra Grind. I was hugely over powered in the gusts and Dad was hugely over boarded constantly with it taking off all over the shot.
So not really a great day, just need to cool down and get wet in the end.
Cheers
