Kymeeagh Southerly 19-20knts.

Spent the first 2hours mucking around on my JPFSW92 try to get use to it - (Novice in the Sub 95l class) - funnily enough my best alpha was on the JP

1st 2 hrs

JPFSW92/Ezzy 6.3 SE wave/ stock fin

Then

Exocet Cross117/Ezzy 6.3 SE wave/ stock fin

JP Slalom 84, Starboard S-Type 126, Loft O2 5.9, 30cm Select Viper fin

Great day out with Dave. We got to use our little JPs for the first few hours, then some holes started to appear, so it was out with the big boards. Quite large and confused chop today, not many alleys for quick runs. Mostly beam reaching at 90 deg to the wind.

Kyeemagh SE 15-25 knots very choppy.

should have stayed at St George Sailing Club but there was no one there. What time did you get there Sean? I left at 9am and went to the washing machine. New board JP Slalom Pro V 92 sweeeeeeet.

Under powered....to lazy to change up. Too much chop for speed.

JP Slalom Pro V 92  Neil Pryde RS Racing 6.2  Tectonics F1 32  F1 32.

sandringham, south 20-25knots early on.

Hypersonic 105, goldwing 32, daytona 6.0

Had a few runs along the sandbank for about 45min until the tide came in & made it choppy again.

 Sandringham 17Jan09

Went for a formula sail later on at Clontarf, showed the skiff sailers how they should be heading upwind & then had one try to run me over later on

Southerly up the coast at Munmorah with the boys. Dead onshore but lots of fun. Not as strong as forecast and big chop.

Very disappointed at NM as I was doing long runs all the way into the shallows and thought I was going far enough, obviously not :-(

Rigged the wave gear but ended up using slalom gear. Falcon 111, 6.7 RSRacing 6.7 and Select weedy.

Good stuff Dave, was the 2 sec peak on the JP or the Cross?

Here's my graph from the few runs on your JP FSW. I reached just over 24 knots, but I'm sure this little board is capable of MUCH more!

saw the board at WSS the other day Rick, it does look the goods. Will be interested to get a review on it from you after a few more sails under your belt. Since when have you been worried about being the only one out at a spot? Thought you would have tried to time the low tide at Sandringham to give the board a good workout. You must be getting old mate Tongue out

Well done to Michael on the distance and Dav on yet more pb's. Sean nice and consistent as usual, looks like the Daytona was all you needed. Next stop a smaller board I reckon.

Mike - 2  sec peak was on the Cross - the fastest I got on the JP was 20.35 - looking forward to more sessions on this board. My two best Alphas where on the JP - I loved that jump you got on the JPfsw, you looked real comfy on it.

BTW you got some nice K's up today. Did you stay out much longer after I left?

Dave, I only stayed out another hour. The holes got a little too big, and I couldn't be stuffed rigging the 7.4. It was nice to have the sun out though! Thet's encouraging news about the alphas on teh JP. You'll get in the groove in no time.

well spotted, but wasnt this time.. the guy i was sailing with busted his mast extension so i went to see what was going on. I think after 158km's i couldn't be stuffed rigging up bigger either, since i only did 42 i was happy to go from a 6.0 to a 10.7

its about 1.2km upwind, its not all that bad. It might be possible to launch from taren point, im not sure if any one has tried it.

Heading upwind on the hypersonic isnt too hard a task though
