craiggoo (2352km): 15-18kn, Nott St. Quite a swell running, with NW chop on top, made it quite hairy trying to go downwind. Nice to see us all post on the same day!
MartinJE (4408km): Pt Chev Auckland Slalom Series: W building with gusts and windlines; 30-50cm short inner harbour chop; iSonic 122 with Venom 380 & Naish Redline 7m0, MB @ 1345/1355. Chop & stuffing gybes - not much fun ...
Chris Parkinson (1758km): Launched from the Bayswater ramp today. Wind from W to SW and 0 to 25 knots. Broke out the Starboard W58 and 7m Redline and first run looked promising. After falling into holes of no wind and sinking I finally picked the shift right to get back to the ramp. Swap boards to the Titan 126. The new JP 39 fin came into play well and took the over powered conditions better than expected with only one spin out that did not require the front foot to go down. Had a bloody big scare whilst doing a run inside the bank with a kiter deciding to change tacks, dropping his kite in front of me at 25+ knots. Resulting manover was a screaming laydown jibe follwed by a forward roll/crash with head stuck in mud. Called it a day after that....
