JP Slalom IV 104L, NP RS4 6.7m, JP Slalom 36cm

Got there rigged up wind dropped, waited around had a chat wind dropped further, chatteda bit more and the wind dropped some more.

Ummed and arred about flagging it and the wind came back, eventually dressed up in my sauciest muppet wear and went out.

T'wasn't half bad worst bit was splat gybing when the wind dropped out accross the pond i the channel and spent 3+mins  trying to water start.

Was having great fun mucking around with mast foot position seeing how much lift I could generate.

Only downside was the high tide which allowed a complete tool in his boat to come weaving in across the flats and then barel over the sand bar to get to the boating chanel, shame the knob jockey didn't find Loashi's post or hit the f'ken sandbar.

Other than that a great little session

Steve, I hope the ribs are ok

mmmh Bender got me a bit into it with is 33.. I should have stay on the grass area and have another beer, the wind was shocking, I watch it for 2 hours going up and down and at the last minute when was time to go... I had a go (8 laps), went on the wrong board (keep thinking that gust is going to come..) its good to get kick in the face a little Laughing

Good onya Bendy Cool

Used iso 105, jp36weedy and tush raptor. Wanted ti sail iso as have not used it for a couple of months. It is so different to gybe than the jp265 I have been using I struggled to get it even close to right , finished the evening by flying into a gybe at 25kts and stepping off the board in the foot change, right bottom ribs hitting the now sttionary mast in the water.

Once I found I could start to breathe again I packed up!

Could not sleep on right sideEmbarassed. bugger.... not likely to sail for the next couple of daysYell

Thats Hardy you're thinking about there Nebs

30Knots = 15.4333m/s

29knots = 15.4323m/s

difference = 15.4333-15.4323 =0.001m/s

2sec = difference (m/s) x 2

=0.001 x 2

=0.002m or 2mm

ok, I may have been a wee bit optimistic regards the length of my willieEmbarassed
