after work run down the river.

Pinneroo, overpower to the"max" ON A 5.8 Severn, (smallest I had) and that 28cm lessacher weed fin driving me hard upwind in the chop I gave it away after a few runs.

That Lessacher fin sure gives a lift when it bites in.

Had a little run at peli today after work with James and Lurch . Went for the hour straight up and it was a reeeeeallly hard slog for it, the chop was unbearable, came in after copping a beating out there so no speed runs today. Happy with the result however given the conditions!!!! Stoked the get a pb always !!!

Quick blast at Melville with Marcel. Spied Chad blasting along too.

Rigged too small, and a bit under-finned. Lots of holes in the wind. Couldn't get grunt out of the little fin to do any good gybes. Still a great fun session with plenty of flat water.

Peli... Snake went hard for the hour...

New Loft Blade 6.2, plus 2nd time out on Lorch Division S 83l. Was pretty bumpy and WAAAAYYYY too many KFs on the speed strip (sorry to the kiter I almost cleaned up)... Had 2 good cracks at the speed strip in the end...

Fun sesh at Wallyworld in a gusty (15-25K) seabreeze.

Manta 59 + 6.6 Koncept + 32 Goldwing.

Typical Walter with some big holes, but also some solid gusts.  Couldn't get comfortable today and a bit disappointed with the numbers, but a lot of fun regardless.  Still trying to find the right fin for this combo, 32 Goldwing is too big, 26 Falcon too small, need a 28 or 30F1.  Today in the gusts the board was 'levitating' and kept trying to round up to windward.  Also some pretty hairy chop due to the high tide.

Sailed most of the session with Stribo for company, and various blow-ins from Melville (Slowie, Ado, John Norton et al) came and went.  Really good to be back on the water...nearly two weeks since my last sail.

PS: Finally know what a 'fast gybe' feels like...nailed a couple of beauties in the flat water including one with a minimum speed of 14K, but well outside the 50m proximity.

Metts to Sorrento. Too much for 5m - a bit of swell about - better once I gave it max outhaul but still overpowered (and finned) most of the time. Best bit was the long one handed down the sea runs. Seemed to catch a lot of weed on the wave fin today, maybe it was just me, crashed a lot too.

Had a pretty average session at lucky bay. Way too gusty. Sailed with Chris... just tried to make the best of the conditions.
