On the ocean to start with, then on to Pandora Pond, then back to the ocean.  The pond was good for a while, but then the day heated up to about 31C, so everyone started to arrive for a swim or kayak and made it a bit hard to get a good run in.  Ocean was real lumpy.

Shoal Bay W ->17kn? gusty, windlines not joining again; small wind chop HW-1.5 to +0.5; iSonic 122, Venom 420, mb @1345, with Redline 7m6 ... very ordinary, should have rigged 8m2 ...

Well done guys for getting out

Naish Titan 126 with 47/39 Profins and 8.2/7.0 Redlines. Wind wsw 5 -25 knots

A great enjoyable day on the water. Started at about 1200 with the 8.2 but the squalls were just too strong and maxed out this combo at about 25 knots with the fin whistling. At about 1400 the wind steadied at about 18 knots which allowed 5km tacks over to Point Chev with the 7.0 setup. I must fix the Starboard W58 since it would have been choice in this conditions. (and about 5 knots faster1)

Well done Martin and Craig - we all managed to get on the water at the same time!

@ Martin - you looked good 1615 Friday from where I was sitting in traffic on the motorway homeward bound. Cool

It sure looks like we're pretty evenly matched!  Pity that Peter still can't get his gps to hook up to his Mac.  Nice that we all got out!  Way to go!

Hi Chris - thanks, yes the tail back is always a great inducement to get out there - but puts the pressure on completing those gybes!  You were sailing from Island Bay Saturday - should get over there too as SB isn't that good W-NW unless it's so strong to fill the windlines in.
