Anthony Perkins (11326km): wow hard day in the office, big skuds coming through all good till i lost it at 38 knots fin delaminated and i went over the front.bent boom big time and straghtened hook out, just pleased the body survived. boom hook
Ray Thorne (2839km): lightning bolts big big stacks battered bodies and nice bit of speed ;wouldnt be dead for quids
Dave Morehead (9367km): Hawley, WNW wind 10-45 knots. First run on iSonic 86 and 5.6 was 38.99 (D), so swapped to the iSonic 50. Wind was up and down and swinging around a bit. All up an excellent day though. I saw Perks crash; he went past at what looked like about 40 knots as I was walking back up the run and then all of a sudden it was like he had hit the bottom and just got swung around the front (looked nasty). Glad there were no broken bones!! The run was a little too tight most of the time, but pretty good never-the-less. Swapped back to the iSonic 86 to do some alphas later in the day. Well done on your 40.5 knots perks, that's great. And well done Ray on your PB (but not so well done on the boom - both arms gone!!). The forked lightning occured as I was going down the run, directly in my line of site, probably about 1km away, but felt like 100m - the thunder clap was real loud!! 2 second trackpoint was 40.21 and display 40.25 (GT31)
