Just out for a cruise, on 7.8 with 174L board and 56 cm fin.... wind did start to ramp up so I switched to 117 L and 40 cm fin.  Quite lumpy and just couldn't even get up to 25 knots.  Wind speed was probably 12 to 15 knots, very consistent, so it was nice to get a few runs right up to Bay View and back (about 4.5 km).   Thought I might be heading for a new distance record when I saw 426 on my gps ... then I realised is was only 426 m...  Maybe some other day (yeah right!)
