5647 days ago What a crapola of a day , my arms are dead my face is beaten from the cold and wind from 0 to 45+ kts and mind you that the gusts only lasted a few seconds , so imagine cathing a gust at 30 to 40 kts and then it disapears and to top it all off a dead square course so if you decide to bear of into the chop a 10 sec run would be toooo long , hitting into the really nasty stuff , not my cup of tea.
And when i first entered in the wind was around about 20 to 30 had my 6.0 m up and was quite comfortable but it didnt last not even 5 mins when it started spitting out huge gusts and big lulls , man i am so buggered and i feel like crap , i wont get sucked in again like that...... , you know what time it is when i could not sheet in with the 6.0 m thtas how strong it got and no downwind course man it was chaos.
Later on i rigged the 5.0 m and it just went up to shit so gusty and the wind dropped to about 18 kts , typicall when o changed over....
So i have decided to put an big X on this spot and the search goes on.
It was good to meet up with Marin who drove a good 4 hrs to this spot and so we can meet up and have a sail and also with branko , good stuff guys.
