Early morning session on the Pond.  SW wind and just past high tide.

Only 7C!   Bloody cold on the fingers!  My nice 4/3 wetsuit and winter booties meant all other extremities were nice and warm.

Tide was dropping fast, and I ended up scraping the fin a few too many time on the north side of the spit.  The few fast runs were going from west to east, just passing through a small gap, hoping I got the right spot!  The south side of the spit, on the main pond, the wind is too gusty from this direction, since there's lots of trees and buildings in the way.

Way to go Chris! I know it's still early in the month, but that put us into 9th (tied).   Those were nice long runs you had, and a great NM!

Thanks guys.

Once the squalls had gone thru it was very pleasant sailing with the water going quite flat about an hour after low water. I really must get my arse into gear and fix that fin box on the W58.(The titan is very comfortable to sail but it tops out at about 28/29 knots)

Next time sailing here I will go for a better NM and also try for a one hour.

@ Martin - I will give you a ring when it is looking good here for another session.

Good winds

Chris
