Ray Thorne (2839km): it has been a wile great to be on the water god to see so many crew on the water
Johno (3255km): Wind at last!! Good session at Port Sorell with a lot of the crew. Thanks Stewart for the loan of your old Speed this is the board they all bagged you out for down at Henty last year. Nothing like getting a pb on someone else's gear Pity the young guns were at school they would have loved this
Anthony Perkins (11326km): great sail, with a nice steady wind and the occassional big gust.not too cold and lots of the team out sailing great fun. tried new lockwood fin 22.5 for the first time loved it,i felt very confident with it cant wait to test it in 30 knots plus. well done boys, go the taswegians!
Stewart McKay (4047km): Bit slow today, still trying to get a handle on the missile. Good sail though. Well done Johno and Jason on the P.Bs. Whats with beating me on my old board Johno - lol
Dave Morehead (9367km): Great to get a decent sail in. you know it's been a while when you first go to hook in and you've forgotten to put your harness on!! Good fun with so many guys out on a Friday - this is what life is about!! My first run using the new Code Red 6.5 on the iSonic 86 with 30cm C3 Venom. First two runs were dedicated to alpha's, but they didn't even register (!; must have been outside the radius), then did my first speed run and had 40.29 on the display!! Absolutely stoked. Never managed to beat that, despite changing down to the isonic 50. Goes to show how one good gust can make even the bigger gear go quick. Absolutely impressed with the new Severne Code Red's. Have sailed the 7.5 a bit and I know this sail is great, but this was only my second time out with the 6.5 and it felt awesome. Had the 5.6 rigged as well, but didn't get a chance to use it. Well done to all out today and especially to those with PB's (especially those on borrowed gear who beat the PB of the gear's owner!!). And, as Perks said ... "go the Taswegians" |
