nice day sailing at a new spot when the wind picked up, nice flat water and combination felt really good.my nm had three jybes but dads had none.

interesting new spot has protential, but will need a big wind.pleased with my nm, crashed my first attempt,broke 2 battens so went back up, tried again with the 2 broken battens ,and got my best nm, "it had extra loose leech".

Still trying to find a good spot for SW wind, went further up the river from Port Sorell

was back on the Stb S type 126 wind up and down. Thanks Perks for the gps loan

Well done guys, especially given the cold (Brrrr)!!!  Mersey River certainly looks promising.  Well done Tom, ... just waiting for you to crack the 40 first proper chance you get!! 

Unfortunately the wind just didn't happen down here in the South today (and the snow on the mountains made it a little less inviting, especially after just getting back from GI).  However, Steve and I are planning to go out early tomorrow (despite snow down to 400m).  We're planning on sailing a new spot off Gordon, between mainland Tas and Bruny Island.  Should be a 2.2 km stretch of funneling wind in a SW (probably choppy, but worth a look)!!  Similar to you guys, hard to find a good spot in a SW'ly as everything is geared toward NW!!
