had a bit of fun today, didnt get too serious, 4.7 aerotech, rrd hardcore wave board 21.5 mfc in the first session then F2, 31 select in the afternoon session, wind had holes in it and it died off in the arvie.
best place to get the speed up was in the big swell.

5636 days ago Kurrimine BeachWind picked up about 11.30am. very up and down but pleasant and easy sailing. Lucky to get a lend of HoppyBob's
Screamer 116l and used 6.6m sail. On water for 160 minutes straight and then wind completely died.

Herby (12064km):
5636 days ago Kurrimine with Lyn, Hoppy, Freddie and Nathan.....Freddie and Nathan arrived too late and missed most of the session.
I think that max wind would have been 15 Knots.
Highlight for my day was to sail close to a 10 or 11 ft Hammerhead. (similar Dorsel to Lyns Select Ride Fin) Very careful jibes after that.

First sail in six weeks and felt very unfit. Couldn't get enough downhaul on the 6.9 and was totally overpowered when out into Mission Bay.

5636 days ago Green Is-rigged small with 6.2rsr ca47 venom26 then maui ultra 24 (after mishap with reef)Wind was solid 20-25 on arrival but no flat water for 1st 2 hrs .As the eastern run became viable the wind retreated ...
Whales have arrived !!!
Venom was rock solid in the nasty chop & powered up conditions
Ran out of time to rerig but a 7.2 & 100l board would have been ideal for the latter 2 hrs
