Green Island -solid 25-28knots but rough as hell.Tried everything to go faster including a near suicide run over shallow reef -collected the reef at 35.5 knots-Damage total= broken X9 boom /2 broken rsr 6.2 battens/torn luff pocket rsr 6.2/damaged maui ultra fin /cracked nose on the CA 47 /torn Naish harness & ruined camel back   ...

Came in & rigged bigger but NO matching boom so sailed the 7.2 rss with 25cms too much extension -managed to get 38.00 on the dial & just couldnt go any better

After lunch the wind was gusting on the tower over 34 knots so tried the 5.0 rs 6 but no faster .

No flat water to gybe & the NM attempts invariably ended in massive wipeouts.

All good fun but will need a couple of extra night shifts this WE for the damages bill .

Kelly & Locky sailed well

Crazy wild day on Green Island-Eastern Speed Run was working in the afternoon for around 1 hr -rest of the time rough/shallow/scary.

Couple of nasty crashes with big chunks of skin taken off feet.

F2 sx85l/venom 28 -now 26.5/rs6 5.0

Nice combination .

Tried Dr Cam's Ca47 with the 7.2-was terrifying !!

Fun day but wrecked now ...

Green Island, good wind today, Iso 96 was way to big for the conditions, may have to spend more money. 5.4 VMG and venom 30 both very nice.

A few days late posting this because we were at Kurrimine Beach.     I only took 1 sail, my 5.9 02 and used the Screamer.

Whatever we done it was good fun.Innocent

Sailpilot

Unfortunately I'm tied up on Saturday with my 40th shin dig Laughing  Also Hooray will be in town from tomorrow and wanted to know if you were keen for a sail in Yeppoon, although forecast is all red at present.  Have a good time in Bowen - don't pass Ayr as you've gone too far (bad fart joke)
