marin my man, what happened, was it a windsurfing injury? i hope you are all right. last night it was pretty heavy here around pula, trees were flying... when the bora started around 19h i went to check out the "secret" speed spot below marlera. but is not that good, the shore is too high - if you get too close it is too gusty, when you are further away there is a nasty chop. gotta search some more.

when i headed back home downwind the wind was already so strong that i almost had trouble getting back. luckily nothing broke and when i reached the shore from where i started it was already dark. but the moon was shining sooo nicely ;)

yap, the bora came in pretty suddenly and very strong...

@Vladan, I had dislocated my jaw just when went to bed and yawned. I know it sounds funny but it is an old injury and I had to rush to emergency to fix it, so I didn't like to take any chances tommorow.

I am also glad that you have checked Marlera, so search for perfect spot continues.

Today I did 500 even better - 31,654! Maybe Ben should consider including 500 in scores. I can imagine that it is complicated, but maybe somwhere in the future...

Hey Marin, after I broke my second boom (in Vrsi begining of the year if you remember) I changed to carbon booms.

So I am using North platinum boom for bigger sails NS Slalom 7.8 and RAM F8 9.0 and monocoque carbon hybrid for smaller ones Warp 6.8...

Hopefully it will hold....

marin, i use only full carbon booms (for slalom), so that did't help. carbon booms also break.

ok, i did some modifications on the boom's head (made it a big wider to compensate for my modest height) so maybe that was the reason in this case...

Nothing worse than accidentally putting up a big number and then not being rewarded with PB's when you do actually go faster than you've gone before!

The good news Ogi is that as you get better you will be rewarded by new pbs each time.

It took me quite a while to get the hang of the software for analysing the gps data. I used GPSAR initially and I really struggled with some errors, particularly now I think about it with Alphas, but now use I Realspeed and for me it works better.

most of us use GPS Results v6 for analysis, and it is very easy to read

no prob with alpha, important is that we noticed that and make right

that I m using now when going out on Bura. I found Simmer 2XC 2008 6.0 on closeout list in shop in Split. Has anybody tryed that sail?

Why not you, Marin? Or, maybe we can do it together? :-) I am ready now. At the begininig of season I was not, but now - I know it can be done - it is just a matter of having some luck and catch right gust and have relativly flat route ahead... But, it can be done, for sure!

OK, i think this is finnaly done, I had to edit also 1 hour result, to 0.00  Sorry all but I think I got it now and such mistakes want happen again. Hope to improve everything after this weekend. I ll try in Karin but if Bora gets too strong I ll go to Srima to try there. Bora is there a bit smoother not so gusty and flat is quite OK.  Chears

Ogi, don't worry, it takes a while to get used to read and post correct data, but it is a great fun. I am glad to see Aeolus grow. Now, we have another fast sailor, Dalen . I think that in a little while, we are going to be pretty serious contestants for top places ...
