Kurnell W 20/25

Starboard S-Type 104, Loft O2 5.9, 30cm Select Viper fin

Nice sunny day and a typically cantankerous westerly - fully powered one minute, slogging in 5 knots the next. I had a great few runs upwind to Towra Point to see if there was any smoother water up there, but the wind died once I got there.

Whe I was de-rigging, I realised that I hadn't screwed my front screw in my fin all the way, and the tuttle box was sticking out 2-3mm at the front. Ew!!

Fisrt sail for 2 1/2 months. Pretty rusty and very gusty. Probably lucky it wasnt windyEmbarassed

Managed to remember how to rig, how to plane and sort of how to gybe.

Bloody nice to be on the water though even if it was waiting for 15 minutes for a gust etc. Saw a small bush fire too.

Went out 4 times chasing gusts and finally managed to catch one.
