95L Sonic, 28cm Lessacher weed fin, 5.7 KA Kult -> 4.5 NP Combat -> 6.5 Severne NCX

The highest speeds were all done on the very first run when I was overpowered on the 5.8. I then changed down to the 4.5 but as fate would have it, after a single run across the bay, the wind died. Got back and rigged the 6.5, had quite a few nice runs but nothing special as the wind started to drop. After spending 15 minutes floating over on the opposite side of the bay, a gust finally allowed me to waterstart and return to the carpark where I decided to call it a day. But, as usual, the Gods decided that they hadn't finished tormenting me and allowed the wind to come back up as I packed the car. Still, the sun was shinning and it was great to get out and have a sail.Cool

Edit: I fluked a gybe and was rewarded with a PB on my Alpha Laughing

Thanks. Still not as good as your 2 sec yet though. Going to have to work a little harder I think. Its a shame the wind just didnt hold.

Good stuff Pat, I wish I could have been out today also. I'm green with ivy! Like Red said the other day, you probably won't get out of bed for less than 30 knots now!
