Andrew Rogan (1857km): Narrabeen Lake, 20knts to 35knts from the West. 105l F2 SXM, JP Slalom 36cm fin, North Natural 5.8m. A bit wild and wooly today with the yo-yoíng of a typical westerly at the lake. I was a bit worried my GPS had frozen because the screen got stuck on 26knts but thankfully my track was there when I uploaded. First time over 30knts for me so very happy about that considering the difficult conditions. First time I've had my (relatively new) F2 SX powered up so I have a feeling it was more the board than my skill but who cares right? Just need to get a racing sail now inthe 5.8m range and the combo should start to fly... I think I may have won some more PBs on my alpha and possibly my 10 second. If I did, this will be one happy chappy. Good to see so many punters down at the lake, although I know many of us got our butts kicked out there. Days like these remind me why I love sailing so much. Good friends, good fun and a nice challenge. It's good to be a windsurfer...
conan (7831km): kurnell 10-30 kts w . big holes in the afternoon , some good gusts , vapor 5.5 manta 67 select 31 . abit chilly out there.
Sean Dayhew (6875km): narrabeen lake JP Slalom 2 94, Goldwing 32, RS Racing 5.4 still trying to get comfortable sailing off my back foot... a few good runs out there & some interesting crashes
Larko (3629km): Narrabeen Lake. 5-35 knots. Fun but super gusty with some hold your gear down periods. Still trying to get used to new JP. Good to see a few Roaches out. Usual westerly weirdos too with rigs and boards blowing around. JP Slalom V, 6.2 RSR Evo II, 34cm JP III.
Boss Man (6469km): Narrbeen Lake Westerly 15-35 knots. JP Slalom Pro V 60 Neil Pryde RS Racing 6.2 Tectonics Goldwing 32. Very gusty, lucky there are places to stand and wait. |
