Looked promising when Herby was rigging up and I was keen to get at least 1km on my distance to get me into the 4000k range.

Well shortly after launching we had a major wind change and it turned into about the worst conditions that Tinaroo encounters.

Still it could have been worse....no wind at all.       6.6m and Screamer

Pleased that Lyn moved into the 4000 km club.      Otherwise a not very good day in paradise.   What a coincidence...Lyn and I both 

had identical peak speeds and other results not very different.   Major wind change may bode well for tomorrow.

A tour of Mackays southern beaches from Hay Point to Sarina Inlet, with afternoon smoko on Victor Islet. On and off the plane alot with the 12-16kn Easterly. Supersport 118, ss39 fin, Switchblade 8.5.

Green Island-wind graph finally got into the "Green" EXO 67 TB 7.8

RSSmk2 38cm venom .

Nice combo but marginally underfinned & lots of holes in the wind which was mostly 13-17 knots .

Didnt plane out of a single gybe so ideal combo would have been 110l board with an 8.4 & 42cm fin ...

Great weather with amazing colors & sealife-heaps of flying fish out,dugong,turtles,large spaniard .

Sailed with Kelly who has finally got a bigger sail -YEH !!!He agreed bigger would have been better.

Nice sail at green, little bit light today and very easterly. Used iso96 and daytona 7.3 venom 30( need to buy a 38 or 40).
