I did a lot of floating around waiting for the wind, then only a few gusts came.  Out on a 7.8, wide board and 56 cm fin.  Nice and sunny and warm.

Island Bay ~W->25; lumpy in the channels - small down the bars, HW+5 to -1; CA SL58, Venom 34, mb 1360 (-2); Naish Stealth 5m8 - excellent session, with Chris showing us how, cut short by cracking the the board after spinning the fin - the broaching keelers just added to the excitement ... shouldn't have wasted 2 hours of energy before at Pt Chev!
