A rare day for the Gustbusters. Small team, so hard to get 3 members on the water the same day. (Sam and Ian yet to post, my lips are sealed! )  Wink

Some big fronts came through Canberra this day; I managed to avoid the worst of them, so happy enough with these times. Possibly a bit underfinned.

Good to get a pb top speed.  Having it witnessed by the one and only Hardie, whooping it up on the bank at the very point of maximum velocity - and slight loss of control -  makes it even more authentic.

At Sandy Point not lake BG.  Though Bristol reports all the Canberra mob were out on a good day up there as well.

Carbon Art speed 50, 5.0 KA , 30 cm tectonic Falcon fin.

So you have recovered from the dog attack? Good to read you blokes are catching some of the wind being generated in parliament house.

What Ian hasn't said is that his 2 second max was no fluke. I ran his data through RealSpeed for him. His top 5 '2 second maxima' calculated as:-

37.83, 36.87, 36.77, 36.44 and 36.13 - all PBs!

Have to call him 'Sir Ian' from now on. No, hang on, he was already a knight.

Congrats Ian on some great PBs - I can only still dream of reaching those lofty heights.
