F@#%ING FIN!  Still waiting on SL9 so used a different brand, shocking- spinouts off the wind ain't fun and could never put foot down to trim Yell

Apart from that nice sail, starting to get board and sail (and me) dialed been feeling a bit slow off the wind lately, definitely felt like there was more to be had today just needed bigger wind- too many stalls mid run.  Still got to get a better entry into reach, always seem to be getting bounced by chop just as swing broad.  Gybed like a noob all day, reckon some benny hill music would have suited my attempted gybe/splats at end of run- must remember to unwedge foot in front strap BEFORE gybe not while bobbing around in water afterwards.  Well done Pierre, followed ya down the bank a few times- it all looked good... cept when you were getting away.

Wello (didnt get down to the creek), F2 SXs, 5.8 stealth, 30cm POS fin.

Was going to try for the 1hr today but it looked pretty bumpy so decided to sail out of Lota. Wind @ Lota was not what i expected under done most of the time on the 5.9m. Should have gone to Wello. Some good numbers to come from the boys @ wello who got the best wind with the approaching storm.

Happy to get the Alfa PB

Holy snapping duck shit - conditions were absolutely insane.  I couldn't get a gybe in as board just wanted to bounce out going broad.  Had three big get offs and the last I smacked my upper arm / shoulder into boom (icing it now)  Would have loved these conditions on flat water.

YAHOO! Finally got a 40k in the Moreton Bay Mob.Smile

GPS stuck on 39 knots for most of the day, then in a rain squall got the board sideways but straightened up in time to get over the 40.

So hard to get a 2 sec PB.

Great sail on a very, very windy day at Wello.

PS. Inredible Alpha  Brad and great PB Mark (Couldnt stop my fin going sideways either)Wink

A  nice day at wello had some runs at wello first and then headed of to lota got agood 39 down there and as soon as the bar started peeking the wind droped but i heard later it picked up again oh well...

Got a good squall coming in from the storm and yeah got a cracker of a run and after that it was all over , typicall hey... , but still not happy about the other results i just was not dialed in today and felt very uncomfortable will have to tune a bit better in the future and get the right combinations right !!!

And yeah i should have went smaller on the fin i reakon it would of made the difference but who knows next time we shall see...

Took out the new sail 6.2 today and it felt really good but will have to give it a bit more of a work out and find its sweet spot.

Wellits been a while since i have hit these speeds and getting on the speed gear , but next time i shall not be fooled Tongue out

Very Choppy challenging conditons had some good runs down the bank at Wello but nelly got cleaned up by a few teabags so went down to Lota creek it was ok but tide was a bit hi with not many banks showing it started raining so I headed back to Wello incase the wind died with a storm approaching had a few more runs before wind died then raced home before the storm hit.

Wello with the other mobsters. Started early intending to do some milage, but it was too windy and rough already so I took my 90L Skate and rigged the Datytona 5.4 with 29cm fin. It is very slow and easy in the rough, but I could not gype it today. Went down to Lota and had some runs there, but I was only getting 28.5 knts, when Pierre and Brad were getting 38.5 knts. When the rain started I thought that the storm would kill the wind so I hurried back to Wello to change to the big board, but the wind got stronger and then the lightning came and I got scared and packed up and went home. Last weekend my car was in for repairs and today the storm came too early. I must get lucky one dayYell

Guys - congratulations on a monster session.  Amazing how quickly things change (although still one day left).

Phil - 40knot club member now.  You must be very chuffed old boy.

Mark, Phil, Vando, Richard, Brad & Bisek - increadible to be punching out PB's in the bay.  Just imagine if you were sailing at Burrum in similar conditions.  I look forward to the day  can have a session at Wello with you guys.

Big effort guys.

We (Pinnas) had hoped that we might keep our noses in front of you but that was a crushing blow.

Well done all those who got PB's and amazing to see 2 40+ peaks not at the pit and not even PB's.

Congrats Phil on the 40+. Woohoo!
