Safety Bay. Breeze was in early and looked really promising. Delayed my start until 3pm. Big mistake. wind was ok - nicely powered on a 6.5 but not exactly fully lit and by 430, wind was dropping fast. I knew that i was close to a distance PB so rigged the 7.7 to squeeze out a few more metres and it was a bit of a grovel at the end. A pleasant sail but nothing overly special.

Generally underpowered but very cruisy and enjoyable sesh out of Leighton Beach with Stringer. The water was warm and crystal clear over the white sandy bottom and the sky was blue!

Nudged up to Supertubes which no longer really exists as a spot to windsurf as it is now L-shaped. Perhaps the mooring on the outer end has come free, but for whatever reason half of it is now hanging directly downwind.

I was on the Manta 59, North Warp 7.0 and Le Sam 28 weedy.

Short cruise off leighton with Matt, Conrad and Col. 7.8m CL38weed and JP122. Took all the downhaul off to stay on the plane- was dropping under 10kts in the holes. Should get an extra digit on the ks now.
