Got fed up with the weed out at the aqua café so today the old man and I went round to the old Murray Mouth… haven’t sailed there in a while. Once again we were very light on for wind, very marginal and struggled to get planning. Not able to point up wind very high because there was no wind - hence the short runs at the mouth. Worked hard to get onto the plane and got a few good runs- pulled off some very nice gybes too – alphas improving even though conditions aren’t great. I cycled between both my dads 158L JP freeride again and my 93L S-type – using the 6.6m KA Koncept. He used his board when I wasn’t trying to take it off him with his 7.0m Gaastra GTX. A fair days sailing, just hoping to get a bit more wind over the next few days and we’ll be set.
