Great afternoon session at the pit-sailed alongside some of Australias fastest sailors who are all super friendly & super helpful .

Wind was a little square probably 20-30 knots & course was choppy by sandy point standards but it was SOOooooo Good to do 40 knots again.

ISO 50 speed special 22cm maui ultra RSR 6.7 then 5.8 .Had a 40.39 on the dial with the 6.7 & a 40.7 with the 5.8

Forearms are seriously wasted ...

Getting there ....!!!

Kel the great thing about Sandy Point is the length of the Run -you have time to get really comfortable by the time you hit the fastest section -at the other end there's plenty of room to slow down .Stanley East Inlet has a much shorter run up & a shallow sand bar perpindicular to the end of the run which creates an intersting challenge as the tide retreats ie pulling up in time is critical to surviving the run ...!
