well done again Barmers crew, all over 30 knots is pretty good.

I sailed surf beach tonjght didn't get out till 4-30 after work, one run and came in and took off the gps, didn't want to loose it as there was a 4 metre swell running and had some huge jumps first run, went wave sailing was unreal for the first hour then caught some weed out the back and got trashed in a big set and had a swim, glad i put away the gps as surelly would have lost it, lucky no damage to gear or self.

Good to see so many posts from the demons yesterday.

Hi Jay,

Yep, hand on the mend for sure. Nice to be back in SA. Had a great trip despite the LOC disappointment...

Fishing at Fowlers Bay on the way home was all-time - massive salmon from a remote rock ledge, with a very large bronze whaler shark circling below me. Just fantastic (to be out of the water)!

Looking forward to seeing your numbers from your new speed board Smile

Chris,

Wow, sounds like the fishing was ace! Maybe some of us WA lads should make it across to sail with you one day (and fish on the way through)......, will let you know if the idea flys mate.

Clocked a 37.9 yesterday, but not on the W44- just not enough wind for that little lady.

Don't worry, I will be telling EVERYONE when I clock 40 knots!!
