Good wind for once it been so long had launch from Birkdale & sail across the bay to Wello cause the Wello park was packed cause of Australia day but it was worth the big up wind slog which took me 9 big tacks. CA70 Loft Blade 7.5 Tech40

Really crap wind and slogged it for most of the two and a bit hours.  Wind completely died out at end and I ended up getting dumped in the shore break that was still pumping from the SE over the last couple of days.

Finally some wind but missed the best of it but all in all twas OK still a bit gusty and a long slog to wello....

Sail felt very good today and kicking ass through the lulls...

Wello, Came too late so there was no carpark left. I had to rig up on the bismouth and walk down with my gear and then walk all the way up to Wello before I got any wind. Then it seemed to be up and down; not strong enough to do anything fast and not steady enough to get good alphas, although they are coming along nicely at the moment. Sean was doing them well. I didn't see Glynn. He must have left before I got out. At least I got a sail and my car was not broken into by the passing drunks and Yobos, that seemed to have broken a window in one of the shops at Wello. Five or six police car parked around there.

Short sail at Thorneside till broke a mast.  Choppy & needed bigger fin.
